Policy and Performance Officer
Based at Fire Service Headquarters, Hethersett
Salary Scale SO3 £28172 - £29728 pa
Two year contract (subject to funding for the second year)


The East of England Regional Management Board (RMB) consists of elected members and representatives of the eastern Fire & Rescue Services who are responsible for the delivery of regional projects.

The post holder will provide programme management, planning support and advice to this group, as well as developing and implementing performance and information management systems to ensure that the RMB has access to up-to-date and appropriate information to assist with the delivery of the Corporate Plan. The RMB virtual office will need to be administered and promoted to enable collaborative working with attendance at various meetings across the Region an essential requirement of the role.

Three years working in a similar environment, excellent analytical skills and an understanding of performance and information management systems are essential. An individual with sound experience of project management and an understanding of the issues affecting local government is sought, along with ICT skills and excellent communication skills.
