General-purpose fire fighting appliance. They carry up to 8 fire fighters and are typically fitted with:

2250 litre per minute pump.

High pressure hose reel system.

1800 litre water tank.

110 Volt telescopic lighting mast.

4 Breathing apparatus sets.

Up to 4 ladders, including either a 10.5m ladder (water tender), or a 13.5m ladder (water tender ladder).

Large variety of ancillary equipment, including foam making equipment, fire fighting hose and branches and first aid equipment.

Most appliances carry specialist equipment, i.e. thermal image cameras, hydraulic rescue equipment, or positive pressure ventilation fans.
Norfolk Fire Service currently has 33 Water Tender/Water Tender Ladders in service throughout the County.
