Students in Year 10/11 looking for a fantastic Club that could change your life
READ ON The programme If xl clubs sound different, it's because they are. For 3 hours a week or more during the last two years of school, you and other students meet and work together.
An xl club Adviser will be there to help when you need it, but most of the time you'll run the show.
And you'll take on fun projects outside of school.
What's in it for you In an xl club you will learn how to overcome what's holding you back. You'll identify what you need to succeed, and then have the time to work on it. You'll get a real sense of achievement.
You can also work towards an xl Award, which is accredited nationally by ASDAN.
How you get in, and where There are clubs in schools around the UK. If your school has a club, you need to be invited to join.
If there isn't an xl club at your school but you think there should be, ask your school about it. Ask them to contact the nearest Fire Station to find out more.
