The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and AICO – the UK’s largest supplier of domestic smoke alarms – have joined forces to promote the use of mains powered smoke alarms in privately rented properties.

They have produced this video clip, available on YouTube Fire Kills Campaign , to encourage landlords to install and maintain hard-wired smoke alarms in the properties they are responsible for.
