Our annual Safety Plan is subject to a three-month public consultation and we do our best to consult with as many people as possible and ensure all those we believe have a specific interest.

Our current safety plan was the subject of a 12 week public consultation during late 2010 prior to its implementation in 2011.  The consultation was the largest ever undertaken by the Fire and Rescue Service and sought the views of a wide range of interested parties and members of the public.  We also consult on various other projects and details of any ‘live’ consultations can be found here.
