General-purpose fire fighting appliance. They carry up to 8 fire fighters and are typically fitted with:

• 2250 litre per minute pump.
• High pressure hose reel system.
• 1800 litre water tank.
• 110 Volt telescopic lighting mast.
• 4 Breathing apparatus sets.
• Up to 4 ladders, including either a 10.5m ladder (water tender), or a 13.5m ladder (water tender ladder).
• Large variety of ancillary equipment, including foam making equipment, fire fighting hose and branches and first aid equipment.
• Most appliances carry specialist equipment, i.e. thermal image cameras, hydraulic rescue equipment, or positive pressure ventilation fans.
