Rockland St PeterAppliances from Hingham, Thetford, Watton, Attlebrough and East Harling, the enviromental protection unit with a support applaince from Sprowston, the control unit with a support appliance from Wymondham and a Water Carrier with a support appliance from Hethersett attended an old duck shed that was being used to store chemicals which was well alight, crews used main jets to extinguish the fire. There was some concern about fumes from the chemicals and residents of nearby properties were advised to keep doors and windows closed. The incident is now scaled down and one appliance from Diss kept a watching brief until the early hours and was then replaced by a crew from Attleborough. Incident has now been handed over to the farmer.
