Young driver education

Young drivers and passengers represent 40% of those killed or seriously injured on Norfolk’s roads. Using educational packages designed in Norfolk we work with young people to make Norfolk’s roads safer.

We currently offer two educational approaches which can be tailored to the needs of a particular group or venue:

Young driver education
This is an educational presentation most often delivered in school or college sixth forms, but is also used with other groups of young people. Produced in Norfolk it pulls no punches about the risk. In 2008, it was recognised by the Chartered Institute for Public Relations with a national award.  To find out more or to book a presentation Contact us.

Young driver display
Based around a young person’s car with its own crash history, this static display is used at both indoor and outdoor venues. With members of the emergency services on scene it provides the opportunity for discussion about in car safety. Once in the car, a thought provoking DVD is shown providing some idea of what it is like to be rescued from a car after a crash. The video was made for the partnership by the City College Norwich.
